What kind of leader do you want to be?
We are all leaders, whether we realize it or not. We are leaders in our workplaces, no matter of
organizational rank or power. We are leaders in our communities, in our places of worship, and in our homes. Our choices- the way we live our lives and raise our children- are acts of leadership and have a ripple effect on the world around us.
Knowing this, what kind of leader do you want to be? What are you passionate about? What’s worth fighting for? How can you lead in a way that inspires others to join you? How can you show up in a way that will evoke positive change?
Since Justice Ginsburg passed away on Friday evening, I have struggled to articulate my feelings of grief, admiration, appreciation, and even fear. I’ve been reading, reflecting, and praying, which is what led me to 3 great quotes I wish to share over the next few days as we honor her life and service to our country. You don’t need to agree with her every decision to respect her life and mourn the passing of a extraordinary leader and public servant. Please take a moment- regardless of your ideology- to reflect on her life, what she’s done for women in particular, and how you wish to show up as a leader. May RBG Rest In Peace and Power.
